They kept coming in the third period and I thought we played timid around the puck and let them take it to us.

I thought we did everything possible to generate offense.

Travis is out for the season and Kyle, if all goes well, could be back on March 8.

Fortunately, we're fairly deep on defense. Chad is a freshman but doesn't play like a freshman. He's pretty tough.

We aren't a big team and they were two of our biggest players. The guys we'll be putting in to replace them are pretty talented but we're going to have to play a different style of game.

We have a high-powered first line that has been excellent. And our other lines do their roles [well].

I give a lot of credit to [Brewer goalie Aaron] Saunders and the defense. They controlled the rebounds.

We're a lot deeper than people give us credit for.

It's excellent for our kids because they know they have to show up [ready to play] every game.
