Branford did an excellent job in the second half. Their coach and kids are to be commended in the way they stuck to their game plan.

They scored on the last play of the game. The way we were, we were never able to challenge them. In our full complement, I think we could have played with this team.

They had a lot of big, fast athletes and we just weren't able to keep up with them.

We had tried to scale back our offense and just keep things really simple, but we were so thin.

We played our hearts out. I saw a lot of good stuff out there.

Our kids did a good job in the first half. They kept their composure at the end - we're learning how to win.

They were a more athletic team than us.

[Cobb] had the MRI on Friday, but he's been on crutches all week and not able to put any weight on that leg.

I'd like to have a good week in practice, when we have everybody back. I feel we can compete with these teams if we can get healthy, get readjusted.
