A couple of weeks ago I visited their (umpires') conference.

I was in the mood where it should have been a long walk off a short pier, but I actually went for a long walk on a long road.

It probably wasn't picture perfect, but we didn't want it to be, so we wanted to be accountable and if you're accountable, you don't get many spare players, but we were pretty happy with most parts of it.

It would be very disappointed if tummy taps or whacks in the guts prevented players from playing in grand finals.

He is a tremendous player but he doesn't fit what we are about.

He's going through the normal process, he's had a bit of experience with these in the past, he's had a couple before and we'll see how he comes up.

They've all pulled up OK, so no change yet.

Bally has got all of the qualities.

He's all about the St Kilda Football Club and puts that first and himself second.
