There were a couple things that kept her from starting. Mostly it was injuries. It was that and trying to get a rotation down. Sometimes we have a lull where we can't score, and it's nice to get a scorer in there. She's really as starter. We've had to shorten her game a little bit to get her in there, but she's a very good player.

I think we're pretty resilient. And I think our kids are all fighters. We could have been down and out a number of times this year. But we have a lot of fight. Other than our game at Fresno State, we haven't been blown out all year. That's a tribute to the work and fight of this team. It's pretty good for a team that many thought wouldn't five games.

She'll work her tail off and she'll get better. She's had some hard knocks this year and had some pretty easy times, too. Hopefully, she'll grow from that.

She's had a really good season. It's really been a breakout season. She's battled injuries all season, but she's a pure shooter and she's made it a good year.

The first time I saw her play I could tell she's a player to help build around. I knew even before the first exhibition that she could shoot by watching her shoot at practice. She's really got a textbook shot, and it makes things easier.

I told the team there's no way they're going to shoot like that the whole game and to keep their poise.

She's deserving of it. She had a pretty good year. We're happy for her because any award is really a team award.

We fatigued a little bit and didn't execute. Against a team like that, we've got to play perfect basketball. You have to make free throws and can't have any unforced errors.

They played behind Michelle, so we went to her.
