It was enough to get it done tonight. I wish we had played better, but we're going (to state) and that's what matters.

These girls have played a lot of basketball, so they knew they could come back and win.

Someone put a lid on the bucket. We missed all 17 of our 3-pointers. We were 17-of-74 from the field. We were 16-of-31 from the line. Castle Rock out-hustled us and out-worked us. We had a big enough lead that we were able to hold on, but we did not play with a sense of urgency and we missed a lot of shots.

We were really flat and had no energy in the first quarter. They (the Hawks) jumped on us hard and took it to us, until we decided to wake up in the second quarter. This wasn't a great game for us.

Our pressure got to them in the second quarter.

We'd keep pulling away and they'd reel us back in.

We played basketball like it is supposed to be played. We moved the ball, we played good defense, we took care of the ball, and we shut down their top player. It was a great first quarter for us.

We've been waiting to play like this for a long time. Good time to do it.

It was a physical game. The refs let a lot go, the teams were banging on each other.
