When I was throwing in the bullpen, I felt great.

After missing a full month, I'm just not ready to start, and I think I proved that Sunday in Detroit. I pitched well out of the bullpen for two innings in Toronto, so the manager and I talked about it, and that's what I'll do the rest of the week here.

Did I wear myself out in the bullpen? I don't know. I don't think so. I never have before. I've never gone from feeling like I did in the bullpen to feeling like I did out there on the mound.

The wind was maybe 20 miles an hour, not much. It was much worse to the east.

I'm just looking for a fair deal. I don't want to be greedy. At the same time, I don't want to be underpaid to where people can say I didn't get market value.

I just got tired. I hadn't started a game in a month. And after throwing long toss, then a bullpen, I just ran out of gas. ... My arm is fine.

My last few starts I just haven't felt real strong on the mound, ... When I wind up in a hitter's count I find I can't power the ball past someone.

It will give me something positive to take home and rest on.

They haven't said anything to me. I had a bullpen session Wednesday and if I don't pitch I'll have to have another one, then it'll be 2-3 days after that.
