It's another place we can play her at. She's shown the versatility.

We don't downplay [this win]. It's huge. It's my first career win over them and my seniors have never beaten them. And people out in the [Alexandria] community who support T.C. had never seen us beat them.

People talk all the time about our freshmen. But where would we be without our seniors?

They did a lot of everything. That team is well coached.

We've been down in the fourth quarter, but not by that much.

People talk about her talent, but they don't see her heart. She's a team player and makes the team better. Today, she [took over]. It's like having an ace in the hole.

[Winning district games] helps us maintain our two goals ? to get better every day and to put ourselves in position to win the district.

The loss was very tough on them. With 32 seconds left [and a four point lead], we were planning on moving on. Never did we imagine that game would go in overtime. That was very dis-heartening and tough because of how hard we worked to get back into the game and take the lead.

We put Tierra on [Jay]. Then we just told [the girls] to take it one possession at a time and [not to] worry about the scoreboard.
