We'd been very fortunate not to leave runners on so far this year. But we let some opportunities pass (Monday). If we'd been able to scratch a run or two early, maybe it might have changed the game.

He's a proven quantity here. - He has a tremendous mastery of his off-speed stuff and he can really mix it up.

He's fantastic. He moved the ball around very well and was very intelligent. The guys he struck out two, three times (Friday), are not guys that strikeout two and three times against anybody. - I was very, very impressed by (Brown).

That was massive. We wanted to have a little more leeway (in the seventh). But even more (importantly), it grabbed momentum back for us.

His key pitch is his fastball but his strength is his incredible intelligence at such an young age. He really knows how to set up hitters and he hits his spots better than any pitcher I have ever coached.

No doubt, it's nice to be able to come back with a guy like Casey. It was a very strange game for us hitting-wise. We hit the ball well, especially in the early innings. But you've got to hit it with guys in scoring position.
