I think those three guys have the ability to really run at defenses. They are extremely fast, strong and skillful and can really break down a defense.

It would be real bad if we were putting in a freshman goalkeeper in the goal and our whole back line is new too. It makes it easier when you have a guy like Burke who has been doing it for a couple of years and has some experience. It certainly eases the pain and it is certainly a good thing.

Our strength is really in the midfield. We have talent and depth, especially in the center of the field. I think you're going to see an interesting tandem in the midfield with those two. Nico is proven and I think Jeremy is proven.

We brought in some very talented first-year defending players and a transfer. But it is going to take some time to get them organized. As for my expectations for the defense, I don't know. That'd be a better question to ask a month from now.

We have spent a lot of time working on our back four with different guys at those positions, trying to get that shored up and ready. We are pretty much business as usual in the rest of the field.

The start was not what I was looking for in terms of energy. I think in the second half, some things started to sink in and we took our level up a couple of notches. Once we did that, it really made a difference in our play.

Adam is a guy who can play in a couple of different positions for us. I know what he is capable of up there. One thing he can do better than anybody on our team is run. He is so fast and he has unbelievable stamina.

Our strategy was to obviously start with guys we felt we needed to start with. But we wanted to [substitute] as soon as we could get some guys some rest.
