The action we are taking now is fiscally responsible so that we don't fall back into debt. We plan to focus our attention on strengthening our financial foundation so we can continue moving forward after this season.
We were banking on a great turnout for our first pops concert to carry us into the next one and the one after that. When that did not happen, the board felt it was in the best interest of our staff, our musicians and all of the wonderful people in the community who have supported us in the past to cancel the remainder of our pops concerts rather than incurring any debt.
