We have flexibility. The philosophy of a personnel staff would be to take the best player available, regardless of position. If you have that, you will generally draft, in the long run, better.

I'm not saying he's Priest Holmes. But I'm sure he had some of that in the back of his mind, too. That was a selling point.

I know there's a lot of speculation, but we have good linebackers. If you look at our team, you'll see that we have good players at a lot of positions. So luckily for us, we've put ourselves in a position where we don't have to do anything.

At this point, you don't rule anything out. There's good players out there. If there are good players and we have an interest in them, we'll try and get them in here.

There's an abundance of linebackers in this draft. There are a number of good first-day linebackers.

His real thing is edge rusher. He's a 4-3 defensive end. He'll be an edge guy for us.
