"Fletcher Leon Smith" is a former American football Safety (American football position)/safety in the American Football League and National Football League. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the sixth round of the 1966 AFL Draft. He played college football at Tennessee State.

Smith also played for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Jacksonville Express of the World Football League.

Obviously, if the CBA is settled, there would be a lot more teams interested in making a deal. His value would increase. But either way, a guy like him will be attractive on the open market.
