It is really a serious concern when the captain shows his disappointment. I have talked with coach Dav (Whatmore) about the matter and I can assure you that everything would be okay. I do not want to make any comments on the surface because I was not there.

It was nice to see him perform during home series against Sri Lanka. But he was struggling since Kenya tour and his inconsistency gap widened in the series. I can't comment right at the moment weather a break will be helpful for him or not.

He might have failed against Sri Lanka but we still believe that he has the potential to serve the country in the longer-version game. We are trying to find a solid combination -- that's why we went for the same team.

It was difficult to exclude him but we don't want to see another breakdown of our main bowler. His fitness level is still not up to the mark for taking the workload in the longer-version game.
