It was a terrific game - one that was completely different than the 5-on-5 stuff. It was hard to hide somebody when there was only three people on each side of the court. Lots of one-on-one basketball and some pick-and-rolls - that's about it.

Last year there were a lot of good teams in West Tennessee. This is just a really good area for high school basketball.

She can play inside and outside. She stepped up big tonight. That's what we want our seniors to do.

Out of the gate, we just weren't playing very well. But once we outscored them in the second quarter, I felt pretty good about our chances as long as we played the defense I knew we could.

It never felt quite right to be in a gym and not be coaching. When 1 or 2 p.m came around, I always felt myself being pulled toward the gym.
