When the call came through it was not reported as a medical emergency. It was reported as a robbery in which the suspect had already fled the scene.
Accidents can happen. The department holds individuals accountable for any violation of our rules and procedures.
It would be inappropriate for the department and City Hall to comment on internal decisions made by Suffolk University.
