We don't believe she is a danger to anybody out on her own.
The driver is very shaken up and upset. It is really unfortunate because the girl was wearing dark clothing, it was still partially dark, and she stepped right out in front of moving traffic. There was not much the driver could have done.
We're not saying that it's an inside job. But there's a chance that somebody got a hold of someone's keys.
We're going to keep doing it until (the problem) disappears.
The (student) had to get some stitches but he'll be okay. Regardless, we have a weapon involved where desperate people are doing desperate things in broad daylight. Students need to be vigilant.
We thought he was somebody who probably had nothing to lose and was pretty desperate after being a suspect in shooting kids and women, you know he's not going to be afraid of police.
We don't believe he was involved in the murder at this point, but he was involved in helping cover it up and disposing of the body.
We do not believe they would have ever pulled this off. That doesn't mean they weren't going to try.
It is still very disconcerting that we have 12-, 13-, 14-year-olds planning these things out for the simple reason of they don't like certain administrators and teachers.
