Everybody's wrestling with rising health care costs and so are we. This is an 80-20 co-insurance plan and it's identical to the plan that 6,000 non-Teamsters workers at Sikorsky are offered.

Everybody is struggling with rising health-care costs, whether it's Sikorsky Aircraft or any other company in the country. We're simply not immune to that. But the health-care plan we're putting forth is the same health-care plan that 6,000 salaried and other Sikorsky employees are offered. It's a good health-care plan.

We're not speculating. We've got a contingency plan. We're rolling up our sleeves.

Maintenance contracts like this are vitally crucial.

Our priorities remain meeting our commitments, especially aircraft and spare parts to the U.S. military to support all their efforts in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

Obviously, the cost of health care is affecting every business in the country, and we're not immune to that. But when you look at what we've offered in total, we think it's a good contract.

What we're trying to do is deal with those costs and do it in a way that allows us to remain competitive.

These are the changes. We hope (union officials) present this proposal to their membership.

Keystone was a very important part of our business. We build helicopters, they did the completion that finished our helicopters. We knew the company and were impressed with the company. The marriage has enhanced the both of us.
