You've really got to tip your hat to Forest - they probably swing the bat as well as anybody I've seen in several years. We made some big plays early on . . . but (Forest) made all the defensive plays and put the ball in play. (For us) it's back to the drawing board.

Obviously Joe Warren did a good job of keeping Booker hitters off-balance. That was key. He's done a real nice job the last two outings.

Just one hit in nine innings, that's not bad at all.

We came and put the ball in play consistently. We came through with some big hits. We hope we can do that again tomorrow.

It's huge because it shows these kids the fruits, if you will, of their hard work and efforts. (This) lets them know they do have the opportunity at the next level.

It's very difficult to beat someone three times. To be able to come back under these conditions - out of your normal routine, playing in the heat of the day, leaving school early - is really a testament to these kids and how hard they've worked all year.

We played hard for seven innings and lost to a good club today.
