Flemming proved that he is one of the best players in the state. We tried to slow him down in the second half, but some of the shots he made were unbelievable.

If you can find a weakness in his game, I don't know where it is.

I think most teams would be happy to hold Torrington to 52 points when they have been scoring in the 90's. Unfortunately, they also play good defense.

That was the best first half of basketball we have played all season tonight. Defensively we did a really good job of containing both Leon and Williams, not letting them hurt us with their outside shooting. But the big key I felt was holding Windham to just one shot with our rebounding, as both Derek Ward and Mark Redding had strong games inside.

We have had runs like that, but usually in the fourth quarter. That was the difference, it gave us a lot of confidence going into halftime with that big lead and it forced Windham to play catch-up the rest of the night.
