There is substantially more evidence to charge them (the two white men) than my client.

The allegations in the indictment about Mr. Adkins are simply not true. We believe that when the case is tried that Mr. Adkins will be found not guilty on all counts.

From what I know about the case and my discussion of it with my client, I believe he is innocent of any crimes.

We maintain he was in the back of the boat gambling with his buddies and did not partake in sexual misconduct.

This wasn't the smartest thing for the guys to organize, but my client didn't do that. It was really blown out of proportion.
