Last year he was the young guy, and now he's our seasoned veteran. He's come miles since last year. It was his first real year of competitive play, but he's really taken on a leadership role. He's been our most consistent player.

That's part of the youth of our team. But I have no doubt that we'll start settling down into the lower range in time.

Sims had a great round. He brought it in low. The rest of the team struggled on the first couple of holes, but they hung in there and kept the scores decent.

After everyone we lost from last year, I thought this would be a rebuilding year. But by the end of the year, I really believe we'll be competitive with just about anybody.

It's just such a different realm for him. But I have no doubt that he's going to crack into the top five.
