"Sir Donald Thompson" was a United Kingdom/British Conservative Party (UK)/Conservative Party politician. He was a Member of Parliament (MP) from 1979 until 1997.

Thompson attended Holy Trinity School, Halifax, West Yorkshire/Halifax, and Hipperholme Grammar School.
