The committee worked hard on trying to protect that as much as possible. I think the land use study is something that is beneficial for the community. It gives, hopefully, a guideline that kind of protects the individual and doesn't just let the region become one big suburban area.

When you don't have to change student school zones, I think that's a plus.

We've really made an effort to look at the historical aspects of the region and put together a plan that the majority of citizens will be pleased with.

If Siegel Middle has reached a point that it can no longer take students without going into portables, we need to look at the availability of space at Wilson (Elementary) and Walter Hill (Elementary).
