"Donald Routledge Hill" (1922–1994) was an English engineer and History of science and technology/historian of science and technology.

Alongside more general works on the history of technology, he wrote works on the history of medieval Islamic science/Arabic science and Inventions in the Muslim world/technology, and translated The Book of Knowledge of Ingenious Mechanical Devices (Kitáb fí ma'rifat al-hiyal al-handasiyya) of the muslim engineer Al-Jazari.
