I just had to figure out a way to deal with the defense. Last year, I could do whatever I wanted but now people know all my habits. I have to adjust and work harder to help my team.

We just didn't find a good rhythm (in the second half), and that's what got us behind. ... They play good defense; they play good offense. They were just really well-rounded today, and the better team won.

These are the type of games where we all have to step up, and we just didn't do it. I didn't agree with the foul calls, but I shouldn't have fouled out. And all of us had to score more. We all know we didn't do enough to win.

It really helps to have teammates like Katie who can hit from the outside, because it takes pressure off the posts and doesn't let people double-team us as much. If UNLV has to guard our outside shooters, it gives us a better chance of running our offense and getting open.

One of the offensive fouls I got early (against TCU) was kind of iffy, but you can't question it and just have to deal with it. It's been my fault that I've picked up those fouls, and I've let my team down. I have to concentrate and play better defense.

I think we all learned we have to be tougher. We worked hard, but we made some mistakes at the end and it cost us the game.
