When Ebony was hot we were hot. But she was a little off tonight and it was hard for us.

I was pleased that we did not give up and call it quits when we were down by 17. But all the girls battled back and made a game out of it. It ended up how it ended up. I hate to see someone lose like that, but it went to Silverado.

Our focus right now is to not make Ebony do everything. We're trying to get everyone else to step up.

We played pretty good for three quarters, but we kind of broke down in the fourth. (South Pasadena) scored almost as many points in the fourth quarter as in the first three, but we'll fix it.

Not many people thought we'd be here, but they're proving everyone wrong by working hard.

We don't have the power to stop (Dominique) and Florida.

In spurts we played well. But overall we have to play a lot better if we're going to win Friday (against Burroughs). We've got to be mentally prepared for that game.
