It's good to win close games. You learn from close games. I think it's good to learn from them right now rather than to not have close games and then have them at the end of the season.

We were scrambling and scrambling and confused on who to [guard]. That left somebody open.

When I saw we were picked 10th, that [became] my motivation for every game. I just want to prove them wrong.

Our destiny is sort of in our own hands. We need to get back on track. This is really the most important game of our season because we need to get back on track.

Monmouth is a really good team, and we better be prepared for them. They will come in here hungry because we beat them at their place. We need to play hard against them the entire game. We can't let them win at our home.

To me, this is the biggest win since I've been here. We beat them twice this year. They've had so much success. Maybe they feel like it's just going to [happen]. They have that swagger. That's more motivation for us.

That 4-point play kind of just changed the momentum.

This was a win-at-all-cost game. We wanted to prove we could beat them. I think we made a statement.

It was about team chemistry. We're so emotional that sometimes we sort of snap at each other.
