I was happy with the win. We're just happy we're in Lubbock.

It's an important game for us. We lost a road game and we've got a home game against a team that's certainly a playoff contender. We make them one step closer to (the Region V Tournament in) Lubbock if they win.

We're playing in a tournament where somebody's going to the national tournament. It's that simple. And we'll compete.

One of the things we don't need to overlook is they won the conference championship last year. That (performance against Midland College) doesn't necessarily need to be that big of a surprise.

From an offensive standpoint, (Hall and Gates) really helped us off the bench.

This is a very good win for us. We come back home and had the crowd behind us and it helped.

It looks like if we keep treating Sean, his injury is going to be behind us and we're going to fine with that.

Sean probably won't practice for two days. We're going to try to nurse him and get him ready to go for Thursday. We felt this was important to try to go with him, and he fought. When he went out of the game, we couldn't get a four man to try to run our offense. And if you don't run your offense, you're not going to beat a team as good as Midland.

Both teams played pretty good defense, but Midland ran their offense better than we ran ours. We're not going to beat a good team — and Midland is a good team — if we don't run our offense and execute.
