Our main concern is to not trade in lowering property taxes for an increase in sales taxes.

There's a lot of ignorance and apathy. If you are going to organize, you have to understand it — who benefits and who pays under our current system.

If the bargain is that you are going to get lower property taxes but higher sales taxes, that is no bargain at all for the folks making less than $100,000. They are going to end up with more of a tax burden than they had before.
