We shouldn't have attempted it. We talk about [the move] all the time, but he is confident with that move. We had other options with that move we could've gone with.
Next week I'll just do the best I can. Win a couple of matches to qualify and go from there.
His matches were too close. Quintana is a good wrestler, but he's a freshman, and he should have put it too him.
The kid beat him last week. We kept it tight instead of letting him go [in the third period]. We made him try something, and when he did we put him on his back.
Within my particular sub-field, we have a congenial group of students and faculty. We all have real interests in common and things to talk about with each other, and we get along. The more people who are in a department, or part of a department, the more likely it is that some of them are not going to get along with each other.

It's not something we've forgotten about. We have had some casual conversations about it this fall, but it hasn't been a big topic.
People are told, 'You don't have that much chance of getting tenure here,' so most people within a few years say, 'It's in my interests to start looking elsewhere,' ... I know that in some cases some of my junior colleagues, including people who would I would love to have here for years, are on the job market.
