I'm just delighted to have swum like that. It was a great feeling. It was amazingly loud and distracting in the arena, but I just love that noise. It was my race plan to control things from the start. I went out quickly, but I was still holding it back a bit for the end.

I knew I had a chance to do something special, but I didn't know I was going to do that. I've never been that fast before and my goodness it hurt.

It would have been nice to have Grant here, but I'm so happy.

It's incredible ... it's the stuff dreams are made of.

We've got so much talent at a higher level and now it's showing that we can produce in front of an Australian crowd.
