Peter has been great, in that he has been talking to everyone and making suggestions on how we can improve on the design we already have. Peter has been full of ideas and he brings a lot of credibility and energy to the project.

He (John) wanted to make the arena better for its users while finding a home for our sports hall of fame. I will be thinking of him constantly during construction, as will many people. His example and memory will make it bitter sweet indeed, but very pride-filled.

Ten long years of planning and hard work by many people is finally going to come to fruition. I am happy for the volunteers who have worked so hard, including the bingo volunteers who have been at it for 10 years.

The construction will involve about 4,000 square feet and the hall of fame area will take up about 1,500 square feet. We're bringing the old girl up to date.
