If you watched Justin Gage and watched how he blocked (last Sunday), several of those big runs Thomas (Jones) had, he's (Gage) on the edge doing what he does, being a tremendous blocker.

We needed a No. 1 receiver. So Jerry [Angelo, general manager] and Bobby [DePaul, pro personnel director] came up with tapes at the end of the season of about 10 or 15 guys we liked who were going to be free agents or guys we thought would be cut for salary cap reasons.

He (Bradley) needs to work on everything. He's still young. He's still raw. With everyone, we're trying to be as consistent as we can be.

We don't need a clear-cut No. 2 (receiver). We have several guys that can play the game. I've always said that each one of them can do different things. It's just a matter of those guys being in those situations.

Nobody deserves it more than Hines because nobody has worked as hard as him. I saw it [in high school], his determination. When I saw him, I thought he was the best free safety I had ever seen. And then he goes on and plays running back and quarterback for us. I'm really happy for him right now.

He's got to do what he's got to do, but I wish he would go on and get this thing resolved and get on in here. It's none of my business. He knows my stance on everything.

That comes with time. When you've got a young quarterback, a new quarterback with the system, the more comfortable he gets, the more he'll start spreading it around.
