Do we really want 6-year-olds to become street fighters?

You would think that after so many children have been shot running around the streets with real guns, that they wouldn't make things like this anymore.

Toys that glorify violence encourage children to act out that violence -- violence which appears fun, cool and amusing.

These toys and games suggest that shooting, killing and maiming are fun, and violence is a harmless, entertaining pastime, ... This merchandising of violence to children is a totally new phenomenon.

We're worried about violence being marketed to children as fun and entertaining, ... Our list is a little different this year because it highlights the 'brands' that are marketed to children through a combination of toys, video games, DVDs and other items.
