It was a gutsy effort. We've got a pretty good stretch going here and this whole month has been our playoff run.

He doesn't get the recognition, but he just does so many things well.

He gives us good depth along the blue line. We didn't think a player of his caliber was going to be available. We knew him from our games (against Quad City).

It felt like a playoff game out there. I thought we played well in the first two periods, then made one or two mistakes. The shoe could've been on the other foot and the guys have nothing to be ashamed of. We learned a lot from this one.

We just have to take care of things we can take care of. And when we have chances we have to bury them. We've got to be darn near perfect.

Saturday is just one of those games you have to forget about. You can't let that effect your performance in your next game. That's something we've been doing better of late.

This is why playoffs are great. This has always been my favorite time of the year.

Joel Martin should be the goalie of the year. They're very physical, they skate real well and they're well coached. I've like this team from the beginning of the year.

We battled the entire game, just like the last time we played.
