Entering the stadium, I will think about both my parents who are not here anymore and who have never seen me play. I will think about friends and everybody who helped me through injuries and hard times.

Sometimes you need somebody to tell you the truth. The fact that she told us that, it's up to us right now to pick it up.

There is no room for laziness.

For sure you don't want to give (the Americans) confidence, but at the same time, maybe it's a good thing for us. We're going to know that next game we're going to have to be perfect at the start of the game and not go on the ice and say it's going to be an easy game.

We never know what to expect with Sweden. If they have the confidence, they can have a good game against us and it's up to us to make sure they don't have that confidence.

For the past 14 years I have been wearing the Maple Leaf on my jersey and it's always been an honor, but today's its very special.

I will carry our flag for all the athletes.

We are just playing well and getting better as the tournament goes on.

We're just trying to play the best hockey we can and go out there and get the job done. We played well as a team and we want to keep improving as the tournament goes on. I know it's tough for the other teams, but we've got a strong team and we've played well.
