When you do a lot of acting your entire life, you see the entire set from one point of view. To have a chance to step back and pull it all together is really exciting. You want to do it all; you want to have a hand in everything.

If we as filmmakers do our jobs correctly, the ONLY thing the audiences should notice is the performances. Filmmaking is about capturing the performances given by the actors. That's what audiences are really interested in, and that's what we need to deliver in order to succeed.
