Those guys did some amazing things last year. Most of them are back. The thing that I am most proud of is they continue to set the bar higher and higher. They are never content with what they have done.

It's tough. I feel worse for my family and my crew than I do for myself. It was driver error on that one. I've got to keep it out of the garbage. There is an edge out there (outside the second groove of racing), and I drifted up after passing the lap car. You get two tires in there (loose rubber, or marbles as it's called), then four tires in the garbage and there is nothing you can do.

It was something that made sense to me when I was thinking about whether or not Tommy should compete this week. He always jumps so well early in every competition, I was thinking, 'Gee, it would be nice to have a bar up there, because he's two feet over at 18 feet.' Coming off an indoor peak, I knew he was fresh and ready, so why not go for a big bar? There was nothing to lose.

This guy doesn't fit into any model. He continually proves people wrong, including his coach. I see him having a big year and I'm excited for him. I will never bet against this kid.
