This weekend was a good example of how we need to be able to overcome things. We had to play 10 games in two days, and we had to fight through some things that were difficult.

We needed to pick up the defensive aspect. We were fine offensively. Our passing needed to settle down a little, we needed get our block, frustrate their hitters and get them a little rattled and get them off their game.

I came in here not knowing these guys. And now, walking away, these guys are my best friends. It's been a great four years to play with them.

It was emotional in the beginning (and) a few tears were shed. We knew ... this isn't the end of the road for us. We treated it like we had to come out and make sure we won on Senior Night but we've got to keep going from here.

We're not there yet. We have all the pieces, I think, but they're not all in place.

It didn't affect me much. It's frustrating as setter sometimes. It's something you've got to deal with and figure out how to score points with it.

I want everyone to contribute. We're at our best when everyone's contributing. It's nice to see all the guys are doing their job out there.

After the first game, after we got embarrassed, [Pavlik] brought us in and talked to us. He called out all four seniors on the floor and told us he didn't want us going out like this.

He went into a hiding place during surgery. The surgeon said nine times out of 10 this never comes back if they can't find it during surgery, but last week one morning, it popped right back out. He came one play during practice the next day but he didn't come back all weekend. Hopefully he stays hidden.
