It's hard to play against a team this good if you're not going to put in the effort, and I don't think we put in the effort needed to win. They're a great team and they shoot it awfully well, and even better when you give them great looks. We definitely gave them those great looks.

We played like a very unaware basketball team. We knew Marissa was a threat with her shooting. Look at her stats. She shoots the 3 great. We just weren't aware, and to not be aware of a player that good is scary.

I'm starting a senior in the post and they just whipped her.

I thought our defense helped them shoot 24 percent. We felt like we should have been up by more.

We did a little better in the second half than we did in the first. We had to set new goals at halftime. At least we didn't give up 60 points in the second half.

We've struggled all year to play for 40 minutes. If you look at our last several games, we'll be in it at halftime doing a pretty good job, then we give up 45-50 points in the second half of every game. Somehow, we've got to find a way in the future to play 40 minutes.

We knew coming in that we had to take care of the ball, but we just didn't do that. North Carolina scores a lot of points off its defense.

They did a better job of taking it at people, feel the contact, and continue to go through. We drive it, feel the contact and back away from the contact. We've got to learn to do some of the things they do.

We didn't run any offense, so we never gave her a chance to get involved or she would just bring it up and shoot it. Nobody let the offense work for them today at all.
