I've done a fair share of stupid things in my life, a couple of which should have put me in the grave. But here I am, typing away as if I had a brain.

I don't want to sit here and make up excuses because that's really tired when that happens.

This is the biggest win I've ever been a part of. Louisville came out with a swagger in the second half. But I knew we could win if we just made some plays. About the end of their third quarter, their offensive linemen just started laying down.

I wouldn't say you're going out there pressing trying to get three hits in every at-bat, because that's definitely not the case. But I think you're almost behind the eight ball when you miss that much time. When you get out there, you don't really feel like you would during Spring Training or during the season when you've played all the games.

You can say you're getting in a little too late when the newspaper is already at your door by the time you get to your room, ... Obviously, it's not the most beneficial situation. He's a winner. In talking to guys who have been with the Dodgers, they would say they enjoyed having him as manager. He works hard at what he does, he talks to them, and you can see that their pitching and fundamentals always have been strong. With the talent we have, I don't see any reason why he can't continue his successful run here.
