We want people aware that this is a school crossing and they've got to slow down. Hopefully this will slow them down.

The problem is people keep speeding. We're really concerned about kids using that school crossing. We want to give our police officers the ability to enforce the speed limit.

Eventually it will be a signalized intersection with turn lanes all around. This is to try and have solutions now because it will take us time to get money to have a signal installed. We want to make it safe today.
