"Corey Allen Pavin" (born November 16, 1959) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. He spent over 150 weeks in the top-10 of the Official World Golf Ranking between 1986 and 1997.

He only dropped the putter cover a half-dozen times and lost my driver cover a couple of times, so he did great.

Anywhere it helps to be long, but you have to hit straight, too, ... The whole deal here is to keep the ball in play and give yourself a lot of chances at birdie. I figure if I can make six birdies every round the rest of my life, I'll be all right. It doesn't really matter what format we're in.

It was good to score well and that's the main thing. It doesn't matter how you hit it or putt it, just what it adds up to. I'm not going to try and force anything tomorrow. Just going to go play and see what I get.

It was either this or not play in the U.S. Open, ... and I was hoping to do this.
