For me to blame my season on injury, to me that's just an excuse. I still had 350 at-bats that I didn't do much with.

My first year in the big leagues was when he was with the Mariners. He's one of the game's greatest pitchers, but I don't get too excited over matchups and stuff like that.

I'm disappointed that I got injured and I'm disappointed in the year I had. I'm not upset over the trade.

It was really frustrating. Not so much that (the games) were so close. We started out (the trip) so good and it went downhill so fast.

It was a long time. It feels good to be back here.

A line drive, a guy jumps for it, I don't see how you can give that an error.

The part that's been frustrating for me is how we get to .500, we start to get over that hump and then something happens and we go back down to it. We just can't break it.

I've never seen anything like that before. Usually when home teams break up no-hit bids, the crowd cheers the hit and cheers the pitcher. I've never seen them boo before.

It's the first time in my career that I've seen that. You're in your home stadium, you break up the visiting team's bid for a no-hitter and they're mad because [the scorer] gave it a hit and not an error. I don't understand that.
