Troy has a tendency to break down mechanically. It's very seldom and it was just a couple of little things about his mechanics. I told him to trust his stuff and get back in the zone. He's an exceptional pitcher, who needs to trust that stuff and go after hitters.

They (Charlotte) just outplayed us. We had lots of chances early in the game and left too many runners on base. And that always comes back to haunt you.

Bill was someone who had been around the program and knew how things were done in the tennis program under Kirk. He wants to continue it among the same lines, which is what we were really looking for in a coach.

He's everything he's billed to be. I hope he's as good as we see all season.

We put together some hits with some walks and got a big lead. We need run support.

Eric was on a bit of a mission. He heard me talk about Carmine all week to our hitters and he had to prove that he could match him.

It was good to see us put together a big inning and then we just turned it over to our pitchers.

Troy did a great job. He struggled a little bit in the middle innings, but seemed to get stronger as he went on. If you put up goose eggs, it's a pretty good performance.

That was a good baseball team. We played really well and I think Troy really shines (in big games).
