Jacki beat us by herself. There's no one like Jacki. She plays a different game every time. There's no defense for her. The best thing you can do is let her score and not let the other players score. You've got to be mentally strong to play a team like St. Mary's. They're very disciplined.

I've been impressed the last couple weeks with her. I'm very proud of her effort and she's going to start seeing more playing time. She played more minutes this game than she has all season.

We lost to them twice by 26 points last year and they're the same team. I think we gave them a scare. We play them three times this year, and we're looking to get one game.

We were working on things. Some of the girls are still learning the game. We needed to use this game to get ready for Edison. They're progressing, that's the main thing. We needed this win to get us going, because neither of us had won (in league).

She was above everybody's top game. She played above her potential, and she always played at a higher level. What I liked the most about her is nothing went to her head. She was very mild, very respectful, and let her actions speak for herself.

He put Edison on the map because a long time ago teams had no respect for Edison. I have nothing but respect for him. He and I have the same philosophy - the kids come first.

When I heard that, my heart just broke. I don't see this stopping her basketball career (because) mentally, she's very strong.

That inspired the girls a little bit more. All of a sudden we were hitting everything.

I wanted to make sure the juniors knew how important it was to send these special group of senior girls home with a victory. Each of these girls brought something special to the team this season, and all deserved to go out on top.
