We're giving people what American consumers been demanding ? a powerful engine. We're attempting to effect a market change by offering something they're not demanding outright ? fuel economy. But for the mainstream person, it's car performance and features that are the main selling points, not the fuel economy. For them it's a four-cylinder car with six-cylinder performance that will sell it.

We have rigorous plans to roll out several more hybrid products in the future, like the Camry next year. We're looking to establish Hybrid Synergy Drive as the leading brand.
