The dummy races are always popular. People get graded for how clever and original the dummy is, how well it goes down the hill and how spectacular the crash is -- it goes over a ski jump. Rumor has it that one of the dummies will look like me this year.

For the first time in a while, it seems to be letting up, so we're digging out, and there's a lot of digging to do.

This is the best conditions going into spring vacation I've seen in my 10 years at Hoodoo.

We expect, with our snow, you'd be able to ski top to bottom until the end of June, but people just get tired of it. We'll stay open on weekends as long as our customers show they want it, but don't count on anything past (Sunday). Any day past that will be a gift.

You have to consider that in January, both financially and in terms of skier visits, we did about the same amount of business as we did all of last season.
