This was supposed to stop the illegal immigration flow. It's only been successful in killing people.
This wave of shootings created a whole lot of tension, and to this date that tension has not dissipated. We hope that this goes to prosecution.
That kind of irresponsibility has caused fringe elements to come out of the woodwork looking like patriots.
Coverage of the border has now been reduced to the vigilantes coming to the border and those who protest against them.
Of course there is a problem of undocumented migrants, but to go after them and attack them is the lowest form of opportunism I have seen in years in California.

It's not about numbers. The only numbers that matter are (how many) people in the country are finding out about this issue and calling the White House, the governor and other elected officials.
Unless we address the root cause of immigration ---- willing workers who are being hired by U.S. citizens ---- the immigration problem will not be solved.
Already, this is the deadliest year in 10 years and knowing that the hottest part of the year is a month from being over, we are potentially looking at a disaster.
