Auburn has been a pretty good feeder for swimming excellence.
The members of the committee will be knowledgeable and will know what is expected of the program and will help identify the new coach.
It's a great time to be a Longhorn.
What we sought was someone who had been at the championship level. Auburn has been the gold standard in recent years, and Kim built the women's program . . . her training techniques and recruiting come with the highest reviews. This is a true leader.
This was a difficult decision. We feel the program will benefit from a new structure.
These were two hard-working individuals and they poured their heart and soul into this program. They know that change is in the interests of the University of Texas.
